A newborn baby is lucky to be alive after his teen mother reportedly threw him out of a fifth floor window.
The 15-year-old girl, named only as Azhen, allegedly panicked after giving birth to the little boy in the toilet of her rented Dongguan, Guangdong Provine, apartment.
It’s reported that her landlady was walking outside when she spotted the bloodied, but miraculously still alive, boy on the ground.
She called the police and Azhen was arrested. During questioning, she reportedly confessed to trying to dispose of the child.
Local media reports that she
became angry after her 19-year-old boyfriend Jiang Sung “showed no interest in helping her deliver the baby or taking her to hospital for the birth.”
Jiang was not found at the scene when officers arrived, and police are now searching for him.
The baby boy was taken to hospital and is said to have only suffered minor injuries.
Azhen, a high school drop-out, came to Dongguan from her native village to work and met Jiang on the job, it’s reported.
The two moved in together in the rented flat and Azhen became pregnant just a few weeks later.
She told police that she was forced to have the child when doctors refused to perform an abortion on her because of her young age.
